The OBX BG carabiner from Skylotec features a unique Bri-Lock screw-push locking mechanism. To open the carabiner, the sleeve must first be pushed down before it can be unscrewed. This design helps prevent accidental opening caused by vibration, movement, or wind.
The oval carabiner has a minimum breaking strength of 24 kN. Manufactured from hot-forged aluminium, it weighs only 80 grams while providing excellent durability. The gate opening measures 22 mm, and the overall dimensions are 112 × 65 mm (L × W).
The OBX BG is supplied in a grey/orange colour combination and complies with CE EN 362, EN 362 Type B, EN 12275, and EN 12275 Type B.
