Bridge the Gap Between Remote Workers
The MeshPort Red allows any phone or tablet with a SIM card to connect to the Sena Mesh Intercom™ system. By pairing a phone to the MeshPort Red via Bluetooth, the device can make calls over the Mesh network just like a regular phone call.
Connecting Remote Workers with On-Site Teams The MeshPort Red acts as a bridge between remote employees and the local Mesh Intercom system. For example, a team on-site can communicate via the Sena Mesh Intercom™ system. A mobile phone on location, connected to this network through the MeshPort Red, allows a remote manager to call this phone and be connected directly to the Mesh Intercom Network. This way, a supervisor or manager can communicate with their team without being physically present at the work site.
What is Sena Mesh? Mesh is a self-optimizing and self-healing network that continuously seeks the best connection and automatically establishes a new one if the connection is lost. There are two types of Mesh: Open Mesh and Group Mesh.
Open Mesh Open Mesh allows an almost unlimited number of users to connect within a specified area. The headsets communicate with each other, relaying signals and extending the range up to approximately 3 km.
Group Mesh Group Mesh supports private sessions with up to 24 participants on a secure channel. There are 9 different channels available, enabling 9 groups of people to communicate securely within the same area using the Mesh Intercom.
Mobile App A dedicated mobile app is available for managing MeshPort devices.
Repeater Function The MeshPort Blue & Red feature a repeater function that strengthens the existing network. For example, the device can be strategically placed in a stairwell of a well-insulated building where the connection might otherwise be weak, ensuring clear communication across two floors.
