Sena MeshPort Blue Adapter for Universal Communication
The MeshPort Blue enables the use of regular earbuds or headphones for communication over the Sena Mesh Intercom™ network. For example, you can pair your Apple AirPods with the MeshPort Blue. Once connected, the MeshPort Blue operates on the Mesh Intercom™ network and allows your earbuds to function as communication devices, meaning you don't need a Sena headset to participate in conversations over the Mesh network.
Bridging the Gap Between Sena and Non-Sena Users
The MeshPort Blue bridges the gap between users with Sena headsets and those with regular earbuds or headphones. It offers a talk time of 8 hours and a standby time of 250 hours. The 1200 mAh battery charges in approximately 2 hours. The communication range is 800 meters but can be extended up to 3000 meters with 6 interconnected MeshPorts.
What is Sena Mesh?
Sena Mesh is a self-optimizing and self-healing network, constantly searching for the best connection and automatically reconnecting if a device disconnects. There are two types of Mesh: Open Mesh and Group Mesh.
Open Mesh
Open Mesh allows almost an unlimited number of users to connect within a specific area. The headsets communicate with each other, relaying the signal to extend the range.
Group Mesh
Group Mesh supports private sessions with up to 24 participants on a secured channel. There are 9 different channels available, allowing 9 groups of people to communicate securely within the same area.
Repeater Function
The MeshPort Blue and Red include a repeater function that strengthens the existing network. For instance, it can be strategically placed in a stairwell of a well-insulated building where the connection might otherwise be weak, ensuring clear communication across two floors.
Mobile App
The MeshPort devices are controlled via a dedicated mobile app, allowing you to manage and customize your settings directly from your phone.
