This 12-strand polyester climbing line from Yale is a somewhat rougher, softer line than the kern-mantel lines and has little stretch. The line is only braided, in each strand is a core of polypropylene, this provides some weight savings and extra strength. This line has a diameter of 12.7 millimeters and a breaking strength of 27 kN. Colour: white-yellow.The Yale XTC-12-Strand has a weight of 102 grams per meter and meets CE EN 1891, type A.
