Petzl Axis
The AXIS in black is a 32-strand, 11 mm polyester climbing rope from Petzl. The rope has a length of 30 meters. The Axis is widely used in industry and can be applied both as a climbing line and a lifting line. The rope is made from nylon and polyester, with a sheath percentage of 41%. Thanks to the EverFLEX technology used, the climbing rope offers excellent flexibility in harsh conditions, even when the rope is wet, muddy, or dusty.
The core-sheath construction has a minimum breaking strength of 19 kN. The elongation is 2%. The Axis weighs only 82 grams per meter. The Petzl Axis is certified according to EN 1891 Type A. It is supplied in a black color. It is not possible to have spliced eyes made in this rope, and repairs are not possible.
