Especially for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, DMM has released the well-known Pinto 2 in a pink edition. The goal is to raise awareness of breast cancer, spread information, and support research through donations. That’s why DMM is donating part of the proceeds from these special pink items to charitable causes.
The DMM Pinto 2 is an upgraded version of the Pinto (pulley I need to own). The pulley, like its predecessor, is versatile in use with fixed side plates. The attachment points have been further developed and rounded to be even more suitable for carabiners, slings, and ropes.
The new Pinto 2 features sealed ball bearings, which means low maintenance and higher efficiency during use. The breaking strength of the Pinto 2 is 35 kN on the bridge and 26 kN at the carabiner attachment point. The improved recessed sheave of the Pinto 2 helps the rope feed smoothly from all angles. With a diameter of 3cm, it is suitable for ropes up to 14mm. The DMM Pinto 2 weighs 117 grams and complies with EN12278.
Also available as DMM Pinto 2 RIG. More robust, larger in size, and suitable up to 50 kN and up to 16mm ropes.
