Friction savers / Cambium savers
A friction saver, also called cambium saver, has different purposes. Usually hung at a central point as a top anchor. This prevents friction and ensures that the work for the climber becomes less heavy, the wear on the material is reduced and the tree is less damaged. There are simple models with only 2 rings, but there are also adjustable models even provided with a pulley for even less friction. Most versions can even be installed from the ground using a throw line. All models can be retrieved from the ground after the climb.
