The Petzl TOP CROLL is a universal shoulder harness designed for use with Petzl climbing harnesses. It is compatible with the Avao Sit, Avao Fast, Falcon, Falcon Mountain, and Sequoia SRT harnesses. The TOP CROLL features an integrated Petzl CROLL chest ascender, positioned on the front (ventral) side of the body, designed for ascending ropes with a diameter of 10–13 mm.

The harness connects to the climbing harness via a loop at the back using a girth hitch. The front connection is made with connectors. The shoulder straps are widely spaced to distribute weight more evenly and prevent chafing around the neck. Using the TOP CROLL reduces the load on the hips. The shoulder straps are equipped with comfortable padding, and all padding material that contacts the user is made from breathable foam.

The TOP CROLL harness is easy to adjust thanks to self-locking double-back anti-slip buckles. A hook-and-loop strap can be positioned on either the left or right side to attach a Petzl ASAP’SORBER or similar device.

The TOP CROLL is suitable for users between 160 and 200 cm in height. It complies with EN 361 and EN 12841 Type B (when used with compatible harnesses), weighs only 525 grams, and is available in black with yellow accents. The harness is made from Nylon, Polyester, Aluminum, and Steel.
