Product description

Hearing Protection and Communication Solution
The Protos BT-Com 4 user is a hearing protection and communication solution. It can be mounted on a Protos helmet using the existing brackets, or worn as a headset with a separately available bracket. The noise reduction rating of this headset is SNR -26 dB.

The BT-COM is single-sided, meaning the ear cup can be installed on one side of the helmet or head strap. The advantage is that there are no loose wires, and you can still hear ambient sounds on the side where no music/communication is active.

Bluetooth Connectivity – Mobile Calling and Music Listening
The BT-COM can connect to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, allowing you to listen to music through your favorite apps and make phone calls. You can answer calls using the buttons on the side of the headset. The ‘conference’ function allows another BT-COM user to join the phone call.

Intercom Function
The BT-COM supports communication among four participants simultaneously. It has a range of 300 meters (in open areas).

Protos Electret Microphone (Noise Cancelling)
The Protos® Electret microphone uses noise-cancelling technology that reduces unwanted background noise by 20 dB, ensuring clear communication on the receiving end.

Battery and Usage Times
The BT COM operates on a rechargeable battery with an active usage time of 12 hours. The battery is charged using the included charger, with a charging time of just 1.5 hours. The standby time is several days.
