This Petzl Vertex Hi-Viz is a very comfortable climbing helmet. The inner helmet of the Vertex consists of a 6-way band set and a soft nylon headband which can be quickly and accurately tailored by the two adjustment wheels on the sides of the helmet, the Centerfit system. The size can be adjusted from 53 cm to 63 cm head circumference. The neckband is by with help of the FLIP & FIT system folded in, making it easier to store the helmet. The strength of the chin strap is adjustable <25 daN (EN397) or > 50 daN (EN12492). Hearing protectors with plug-in attachment and Pixa headlamps can be attached directly on this helmet, various visors can be attached using the Easyclip system. This helmet has no ventilation openings so this helmet meets the safety standard for molted metal and electrical insulation EN 50365. The Petzl Vertex has a weight of 495 grams. Meets the impact standard of standard EN 397 and EN 12492 and with the additional standards for lateral deformation and cold temperatures. Colour: Fluorescent yellow
