The Chicane is an SRT solution that makes it possible to use the Zigzag or Zigzag Plus on single rope. Thanks to the friction of the two friction pins there is extra deceleration when descending, the friction pins are replaceable. The side plate can be opened for a quick and easy installation on the rope. The double release limits the possibility of accidentally opening the side plate. The Chicane can be placed on the upper eye of the Zigzag by means of a Petzl AM’D or Petzl OK carabiner with new H-profile.
