Jailbrake 7R HD

The Jailbrake 7R is a 100% aluminum lowering device. It features a '7-pin' construction, allowing the braking effect on the rope to be adjusted in multiple ways depending on the load being carried. The Jailbrake 7R has a maximum working load limit of 22.5 kN and is suitable for ropes with a maximum diameter of 19mm.

The lowering device is equipped with two large anchor points, clearly marked with icons. The pig tails on either side of the device help direct the rope. By threading the rope in a zigzag pattern between the pins, friction is increased. If you have little or no experience with this braking system, we recommend using as many pins as possible for maximum control. The images provide examples of how the rope can be threaded in different ways to achieve varying levels of friction.

The Jailbrake 7R is lightweight, weighing only 3.3 kg. It is made from 6061 Billet Aluminum. With its dimensions of 46.5 x 11.5 cm, it is easy to transport to any location. Available in aluminum/chrome finish.
