These new climbing spurs from Edelrid have an ergonomically shaped steel frame, but are still lightweight (2500 grams per pair). The paddings are adjustable in height and are attached with plastic straps. The straps are at the heel, instep and calf, have a Velcro fastening and can be adjusted for optimum dimensions. The plastic covers (made from recycled pieces of climbing rope) provide a lot of support. All individual parts are replaceable. The fabric parts are easy to remove and wash. The spikes of these spurs are short (43 millimeters). These spurs are also available with long spikes (70 millimeters).
